Therapy sessions and fees
Each therapy session has a guide set out as to the total duration. Sessions range from 1 hour to 2 hours. On booking I will clarify with you the expected duration. The session duration may be subject to change. The Therapist reserves the right to shorten a session or indeed lengthen it if the therapist feels it is in the best interest of the client.
Fees will be advised on booking and conformation of your – the Client(s) session. You can refer to the website for current Fee’s however Responsive therapy reserve the right to alter prices depending on operating costs of varying consulting rooms and locations. Prices, Locations, and session timings may change or differ from our promotional material and website, we will do our best to keep you updated however we reserve the right to change or update details at our convenience.
If I cancel a session
I will only cancel a session if I am ill, or in an emergency. I will offer you a replacement session at a mutually agreeable time. I will not offer any form of financial compensation other than the session fee for the cancelled session if it was paid in advance.
How to cancel a session
You can cancel an appointment or reschedule for a different time by e-mail, text or phone.
We understand that you have busy and sometimes unpredictable lives, if you need to cancel an appointment please give at least 48 hours’ notice. Any appointments cancelled with less than 48 hours’ notice will regrettably incur a cancellation fee of £40.
Clients turning up late
If you know that you are going to be late, then please let me know as soon as possible. I will endeavour to still give you the allotted session time, however I may not be able to if I have another client booked very soon after your appointment.
If I (Responsive Therapy) am running late
Occasionally but very rarely I may be late. This may be for a number of reasons such as delays on public and private transport during travel between offices, or for other personal reasons. I will endeavour to let you the client(s) know as soon as it is safe and possible to do so. This of course depends on weather I have been given the correct contact information from you the client. I will always give you more time in a session to compensate where possible or cancel the session and rebook another at a mutely agreeable time.
If needed subsequent sessions can be booked – this is normal. We will evaluate your therapy together at the beginning and end of each session. We try to be as effective and brief as possible however sometimes multiple sessions will be needed. In the unlikely event that the therapy is not effective then I will suggest that therapy ends at the earliest opportunity and I will help to advise on alternative routes if you so wish.
You may be given tasks or homework between therapy sessions. These tasks will be clearly explained and designed to strengthen and compliment the therapy done during session time. It is expected that you the client will treat the tasks seriously and take full responsibility for them and your therapy in general.
Payment must be made by cash or *cheque at the end of each session. You may pay in advance if you wish, should there be a fixed number of therapy sessions.
*Cheque payments must be made with a bankers card
